CNA-certified, one-on-one elder care

The same trusted caregiver, every single visit.

Your parent gets to know one person, and that person gets to know them: their routines, their good days and hard days, and the small changes that matter.

What I do

Three kinds of help, all from one trusted person.

Most families start with one need and add more over time. Nothing has to be explained twice or handed off to someone new.

01

Memory & dementia support

Calm, patient care built around the person, not a checklist.

  • Steady daily routines that ease confusion
  • Gentle redirection, never arguing
  • Meal, water and medication reminders
  • Unhurried help with personal care
  • A short written update after each visit
02

Personal care & mobility

Help with the most private parts of the day, with dignity.

  • Bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Safe transfers and fall prevention
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Skin care and repositioning
  • Encouragement to stay active and steady
03

Companionship & home help

Good company, a tidy home and the small things that make a day feel normal.

  • Conversation, walks, games and reading
  • Meals cooked to taste and diet
  • Laundry and light housekeeping
  • Errands and appointment rides
  • Regular updates for the family

Why private pay

Private care means your parent is someone's priority, not one name on a long schedule.

Agencies do good work and are the right fit for some families. But when consistency is what keeps an older adult calm and safe, hiring a caregiver directly is often the simplest way to get it.

Through an agency

The usual way

  • Different aides depending on who's available
  • Shift minimums set around the agency's schedule
  • New faces mean starting over with routines
  • Questions go through an office first
  • Part of the rate goes to agency overhead

Directly with me

The private way

  • One caregiver, from the first visit on
  • Visit lengths and hours that fit your family
  • Routines learned once and kept
  • You call me directly, and I pick up
  • One agreed hourly rate, with no middleman

With no agency in between, private care often costs about the same as, or less than, an agency's hourly rate.

Agreed in writing

Hours, rate and duties confirmed before the first visit. No surprise charges.

No long contract

Two weeks' notice on either side. Families stay because the care is good.

Insurance paperwork

Some long-term care policies cover private care. Visit notes and invoices are provided on request.

Who you're hiring

You're not hiring a company. You're choosing a person.

I'm a certified nursing assistant, and I've spent my career caring for older adults, much of it in memory care, always one person at a time. My clinical training helps me notice the small changes that matter, like sudden confusion that could signal an infection, or a shaky morning after a medication change.

I started working privately because families kept asking for the same things: the same face, the same routine, and a phone number that reaches the person who actually knows their mom. I keep my client list small on purpose, so I can stay late when something is wrong and remember the little things that make a day feel like home.

Before anything starts, you'll meet me, and so will your parent. If it isn't the right fit for either of us, I'll tell you honestly and help you find someone who is.

Getting started

Three simple steps, at your pace.

No pressure, no packages, and no commitment until you've met me and seen the plan.

01

A phone call

About thirty minutes. Tell me what's going on at home, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.

02

Meet in person

A free visit with your parent and any family who wants to be there, before anyone decides anything.

03

A plan, then a first visit

Hours, rate and what a good day looks like, written down and agreed before care begins.

Start here

Tell me what's happening at home.

You don't need to know exactly what you need yet. Many families start with one worried phone call. Tell me a little, and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do in your shoes.
